Answer: For me, that has not happened. The zippered compartment comes with a metal tag. I keep it in a closed position, so that the metal tag is positioned on the right hand side when looking down into the compartment. The bag can hold an Apple 6S phone encased inside an Otterbox Defender series and there are no scratches on the screen protector related to the zipper or metal tag. -
