It is worth noting that it takes a long time to dry, around a week for a floor, but the finish is said to be very nice. Also, for the first coat or two on any wooden surface, it penetrates better when mixed with a little turpentine or citrus oil. After the first two coats, full strength oil is used, and 000 steel wool or brass wool is used before applying the final coat.
