Customer Questions & Answers
-
Question:
What is LURKA Mason Line String used for?
Answer: LURKA Mason Line String is ideal for a variety of applications, including precision work in construction, landscaping, and DIY projects. Its bright fluorescent orange color enhances visibility, making it easier to track lines over long distances. Whether you are setting out parameters for building foundations, aligning fences, or guiding planting rows, this durable nylon line stands up to outdoor elements, ensuring accuracy in your tasks. -
Question:
How strong is the LURKA Mason Line String?
Answer: The LURKA Mason Line String is crafted with #18 8 braided construction, providing a robust tensile strength capable of handling the rigors of both professional and DIY jobs. This strength is essential for tasks that require reliable hold and support, such as marking straight lines for masonry or framing. Its durability also means it resists fraying and breaking, ensuring consistent performance across multiple projects. -
Question:
What is the length of the LURKA Mason Line String?
Answer: The LURKA Mason Line String comes in an ample length of 540 feet, giving you plenty of line for extensive jobs without the need for frequent replacements. This length is particularly beneficial for larger construction projects or landscaping jobs, where you need to cover significant distances. Having such a long spool also means you can cut the line to your specific needs, minimizing waste. -
Question:
Is the LURKA Mason Line String weather-resistant?
Answer: Yes, the LURKA Mason Line String is designed to withstand various weather conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its nylon material is resistant to moisture, UV rays, and abrasion, ensuring it remains effective even in challenging environments. This resilience is crucial for outdoor projects like garden layout or fence alignment where exposure to the elements is a concern. -
Question:
How do I store the LURKA Mason Line String?
Answer: To ensure the longevity of your LURKA Mason Line String, it’s recommended to store it in a cool, dry place when not in use. Returning it to the spool helps prevent tangling and knots, maintaining its quality for your next project. Keeping it out of direct sunlight when stored also aids in preserving the integrity of the nylon material, ensuring it remains effective for future use. -
Question:
Can I use LURKA Mason Line String for fishing?
Answer: While the LURKA Mason Line String is designed primarily for construction and DIY projects, it can theoretically be used for fishing as a makeshift line. However, it is not tailored for this purpose and may not provide the performance or reliability needed for actual fishing. For hobbyists looking to improvise, the fluorescent color could help in visibility, but conventional fishing lines will always be a better choice for the sport. -
Question:
What is the diameter of the LURKA Mason Line String?
Answer: The LURKA Mason Line String has a diameter of #18, which refers to its thickness. This size is common among mason lines, balancing durability with flexibility. The diameter is suitable for creating clear, visible lines for alignment that don’t sag excessively under tension, making it perfect for various applications such as fence building or tile laying. -
Question:
Does the LURKA Mason Line String tangle easily?
Answer: The LURKA Mason Line String is designed to minimize tangling issues, especially when stored on its spool. Proper storage techniques can further prevent knots and kinks, which can disrupt your workflow. While using it, avoid excessive pulling or twisting to maintain a smooth line. This is particularly beneficial in situations where you need a straight line without interruptions, such as when marking out a level surface. -

Answer: You can purchase the LURKA Mason Line String at Ubuy in Kenya. Ubuy offers a convenient online shopping experience, ensuring you can easily find this durable nylon line for all your precision work and DIY projects.
