The REX-C100 Temperature Controller is a PID digital temperature controller with relay output, used to control high-temperature ovens. Although documentation was sparse, customers could decode it eventually and got good results. It is a low-cost device that does the job, however, it does not include ramping and timing features. The PID autotune function is quite good; however, use caution with low thermal mass systems. The device is easy to disassemble and modify. The plastic quality of the case is not as good as high-end units, but it is functional. One issue reported was the flickering digits in the set mode. Some reviews reported that the device could not drive an external SSR, which is incorrect as it is not intended to directly drive one.
