PumpSpy Pump Accessories TS-100 Editorial Review
The PumpSpy Sump Pump Tethered Float Switch is a reliable option for controlling sump pumps. It is easy to install and designed for 110V connections. The switch turns on at approximately a 45-degree angle, and it only completes the circuit; current is dependent on the draw of your pump. The switch only has one contact that is used to control pumps, and it conducts current when the float is tilted up and opens the circuit with no current when it is tilted down. In terms of customer experience, some customers reported issues with the switch failing continuity tests with a voltmeter, not operating their pump or cycling every 10 minutes. However, others found it easy to install and a cost-effective alternative to buying a new pump. One customer suggested that it would be better if it had a few seconds delay before turning off and stated that great quality materials were used.
