Both fittings of the hose are 1/2" IPS with straight threads which could be applicable to standard handheld shower heads or other fixtures that have 1/2" pipe threads, however, customers should check the connector of their fixture before ordering to make sure that they are compatible. One customer mentioned that the blue inserts were difficult to remove but eventually were unscrewed out. Overall, the reception of this product is very positive.
