This small protein skimmer is a great addition to a nano tank. It is easy to assemble, clean and maintain. The air pump is included and the collection cup is removable and easy to rinse. The cylinder diameter is 1 3/8 inches, and it fits under biocube 32 hood. However, it isn’t suitable for Marineland contour 3 filter or a 10-gallon tank. The skimmer is also adjustable to align with your water level and airflow rate. It is very quiet and doesn't disturb the fish as it performs its function to clean the tank. But this skimmer makes a lot of microbubbles, which can be a downside for some people. The customers who had a biocube 16 reported that it was a tight fit, and the clip on the skimmer lid made the aquarium not shut. However, pushing it down keeps it in place and does a good job. Some customers also reported that it was not functioning well, and the delivery was incomplete. Overall, this small protein skimmer is useful and efficient for maintaining a clean nano tank, but it may not be suitable for everyone.
