Many customers express satisfaction with the materials and craftsmanship, highlighting that the quality is comparable to more expensive branded alternatives, making it a great value for divers looking for cost-effective options. Users found the solid Construction of the cam bands and the metal buckle reassuring, especially for those setting up sidemount riggings. However, there are significant concerns regarding the completeness of the product. Multiple reviews noted that the vital tank adapter was missing in packages upon arrival, which led to frustration and inconvenience. Additionally, some users experienced quick corrosion on the tank STA after just one trip, raising concerns about long-term durability. Issues with the bolts not fitting into the back plate cutouts were also mentioned, indicating potential design flaws in the product. Despite these drawbacks, many users found the straps to be rock solid and effective for their needs, with some reporting no signs of corrosion or damage after two months of use. Overall, while the Palantic Tech Diving Backplate Adapter shows promise in terms of quality and Construction, the reliability of receiving a complete order and Consistent performance remains an issue for many. **
