This electric heating relay is a well-made product that works as advertised. It is great for controlling electric heaters remotely with smart or low voltage thermostats. Buyers must note that while it can decrease 120v down to 24v, it is only rated for 24v, so using it with other input voltage is not recommended. Although it is not UL listed, users have reported no issues with it. They suggest that the wires need to extend using wire nuts or crimps as they are short otherwise. It comes in a compact size, making it easy to fix into single-gang boxes that would ideally suit a 240 volt garage heater or an electric heating relay. The product instructions, diagrams and price are excellent. However, it is imperative not to disassemble it because of potential and existing broken wires or endangering the whole product's functionality. A customer complained of receiving already used and broken products, indicating insufficient quality control.
