The Dometic SeaStar Tilt Hydraulic Steering Kit, HK6400TX-3 is a great product for easy replacement. It has a tilt of 48 degrees, which means 24 degrees up and 24 degrees down from 90 (perpendicular to dash). It is roughly 8 inches in throw from left to right on the slave cylinder. It works well with Yamaha engines and Mercury CT engines. However, it doesn't work with anything SIMRAD and their customer service is not that great. The kit comes with most of the items needed but it would be nice if it had an option for selecting the right hoses. The screw holes of the product are 1/8 inch off the old one. Overall, the Dometic SeaStar Tilt Hydraulic Steering Kit, HK6400TX-3 worked as advertised.
