DeoxIT Connector & Contact Treatment is an excellent kit to prevent oxidation and improve conductivity. Its use goes beyond electrical and audio contacts, as it can also be useful in cleaning and lubricating wafer switches and contacts in old guitar amplifiers, old radios and other electronics. The corrosion protection of the kit is effective, and the red cleaner dissolves corrosion and provides a clean contact. However, the gold fluid included seems almost a waste as it is hardly useful for daily needs. Moreover, the blue stuff needs clarification on the need after the use of the red one. Additionally, there are not enough Q-tip like devices to probe crevices, and the clear plastic container size is not sufficient to store the kit after use. The lid needs force to close, and the instructions wear off after a few uses. The kit contains some samples of different metals used in fuses and connectors. However, the applicators could have been softer and have more hairs for better application. The shield solution application has also improved connectivity. Overall, DeoxIT Connector & Contact Treatment is an effective kit for electronics anti-corrosion and conductivity needs.
