It does not have an on/off switch and turns itself off after 15 minutes, requiring a click to turn it back on. The scroll wheel is minimal sound, scrolling up and down but not left and right. As long as a device has a USB port it should work. The mouse is not truly silent and has a noticeable squeak when scrolling. Some users have reported inConsistencies with cursor movement. Despite this, the mouse has several positive reviews stating that it is great for working in quiet offices or taking notes. It also has an auto shutoff feature that works well, and can withstand drops on concrete floors.
