The OEM Tools 30-inch oscillating fan, although aimed for industrial use, has generated mixed reactions among customers. While some found it ideal for keeping large workshops, workplaces, or even bedrooms cool, others experienced overheating issues with the motor and cheap parts, leading to costly motor replacements. The fan boasts of producing 9,000 CFM of airflow, enough to turn heads and make a lot of noise. It is equipped with a rotary switch, an improvement over the previous pull switch that was notorious for breaking. Assembly instructions were sparse, which may pose a challenge for users who are less mechanically-inclined. Adding casters for better portability to move the fan around could be an improvement, too. Overall, the OEM Tools fan is a decent entry-level industrial fan that could use some enhancements to make a discernible difference.
