The system works with old Windows 7 laptops, but users should test it on Windows 10 to ensure compatibility. The quality of the images saved as JPEG files onto the SD Card is excellent and works on all systems. The device's price is very reasonable, and overall, it's a great value for money product. However, it cannot handle larger negatives, and the bulk slide tray has a tendency to have slides double-stack in the viewer or jam when ejected improperly. Additionally, some users have reported issues when using cardboard slides and that the cleaning brush breaks off easily. Finally, the device requires an SD Card to work, but no card is included in the package, and the manual and video descriptions are unclear if the device can operate without one. Some customers have reported that the device failed after only two uses, which can be disappointing.
