To use them, simply bend and snap them open and then push them up against your scalp to close. However, the silver color is very shiny and may be more likely to get scratched with wear. Additionally, some customers have reported that their hair gets caught in the little ribbon at the tip of the clip. Despite this, the clips are sturdy and small enough to hold wispy, stray hairs in place.
