Keson PG1835WIDEV Short Tape Measure with Wide Nylon Coated Steel Blade Graduations: ft, in, 18, 1-316-Inch by 35-Foot is a tape measure that has received mixed reviews. Some buyers were pleased with the wide easy to read print on the tape, the five rivets on the hook, the operating tape lock, and the size that is comfortable to hold. However, some buyers did not like the quality of the blade as it crimps and tears easily. They also found the scales hard to read and confusing, with one side having 1-12" per foot and the other side having 1/10th of a foot markings. Another drawback was that the hook edge covered up all of the tape markings up to 1/4". One buyer found it difficult to get an accurate reading on the tape when using the body of the tape measure to take an inside measurement because there was no straight surface on the front of the body to line up with the markings on the tape. Although a carpenter has been in business for 43 years, he found it better than DeWalt's tapes.
