What is the resolution of the recordings?
Answer: The camera records in Front 1080p Rear 1080p or Front 1440p Rear 720p at 30fps. -

How does the SOS Emergency Response feature work?
Answer: It automatically alerts emergency services of your location in case of an accident. -

Can I control the DashCam with my voice?
Answer: Yes, it has built-in Alexa for voice commands and various functionalities. -

Do the cameras mount to the windshield with suction or adhesive?
Answer: You can use a suction cup OR adhesive. Usually use the suction cup for a week or so to make sure you like the placement. Then use the adhesive when ready for a more long-lasting install. -
Question:
The base does not swivel and it's difficult to align the camera on the dash. Any suggestions?
Answer: Yes, the product is not engineered to sit on the dash. Both the 3M and suction cup mounts are engineered to attach directly to the windshield. -
Question:
After video segments are joined, are they seamlessly joined without interruptions?
Answer: They are in 2 minute clips. I have not tried to join them together. -
Question:
What is the maximum safe operating amperage?
Answer: Short answer: The power supply amperage does not determine the fuse size for a device. Fuse sizing is based on the amperage rating of the driven device. Long answer: Fuse sizing can be very complicated and depends on the application. -
Question:
Do any of your cameras have a GPS antenna input?
Answer: I do not find an antenna port on my 422GW. It comes with a USB and HDMI port only. It does sync with your cell phone via WiFi connection, but I am not aware that signal is used to establish GPS at all. -
Question:
Does it come with (or work with) an ODB2 cable?
Answer: Comes with a 12V adapter for power (not ODB2). You can also buy a hardwire kit that will piggyback into your fuse box. -
Question:
Is there an option to have it record 24/7 video?
Answer: You have 2 options: 1) plug into outlet in car, or 2) hot wire kit directly to car battery. When you turn the car off, option 1 will turn off the unit, while option 2 will always stay on until you power it off manually. -
Question:
Had 2 of these in a row become so hot they would no longer turn on. Is this a fault in design or an unlucky coincidence?
Answer: I've had my screen get a black void spot when it got way too hot, which was my fault in the first place, but the full picture came back after it cooled down. So I would say a little bad luck combined with poor car. -
Question:
Can I use a 64GB ultra chip?
Answer: It supports 64GB U3 MicroSD and 128GB U3 MicroSD card.
