Q Workshop Standard Game Dice Editorial Review
The Q-Workshop DICE Macabre Dice Set is a perfect fit for those who love themed Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. The intricate design of the dice and the faintly aged look of the bone-like finish make them look like tiny little skulls that are a great addition to any game. However, some users have noted that the dice are lighter than most, due to being made from resin and not plastic or metal. While this may not be an issue for some, buyers who prefer the heft of traditional plastic dice might want to take note. Additionally, the numbers on the dice are quite hard to read and must be hand-painted by the buyer. On the Cons side, the major issue lies with the dice smell; they smell faintly like urine. The manufacturer must address this issue as it is off-putting to new customers. Overall, these Macabre Dice are a great addition to a D&D campaign, provided the dice smell issue is resolved.
