Watts Premier 5-Micron White Melt Sediment Filter Cartridge 10" 2-Pack

The Watts Premier 2-Pack 5-Micron White Melt Blown Sediment Filter Cartridge is highly regarded by customers for its performance in water filtration. Many users appreciate its role as a final stage in a multi-tier water treatment system, especially those tackling hard water issues, indicating effective filtration of city water. Users have reported positive experiences with the filter's ability to serve as a pre-filter for reverse osmosis systems, which suggests reliability and efficiency in removing sediment and particulates from the water supply. However, the product has faced some scrutiny due to discrepancies in the contents of the 2-pack. Some customers noted receiving an incorrect combination of filters, such as one sediment and one charcoal filter instead of the expected two sediment filters. This has led to confusion and hesitance in resolving the issue, pointing towards possible discrepancies in packaging or inventory management. Additionally, there has been frustration expressed when the filters failed to remove chlorine effectively, leading to returns for some customers. This highlights a gap in customer expectations versus the actual performance of the product, particularly regarding chlorine treatment. Overall, while the Watts Premier sediment filters receive accolades for their filtration capabilities, potential purchasers should be mindful of possible discrepancies in the packaging and performance with chlorine removal to make informed decisions. **
