The Outland Living 320 Vertical Garden is a compact, easy-to-assemble garden bed made of 304 Stainless Steel with a protective powder coating. The bins do not include pre-drilled drainage holes, but adding a 5/16" hole will provide drainage, or alternatively, fillers can be used to create a small water reservoir below the soil line to prevent root rot. Based on the Owner's Manual, this garden bed is great for growing a variety of different vegetables, herbs, flowers, and plants. However, it is not advisable to grow deep-rooted vegetables and some vine/climber plants. The bins don't have a water catch system, but the unique bottom design provides an option for a drainage layer, preventing water from sitting in the bottom of the bin. Customers have recommended drilling small drain holes to let water out and provide adequate drainage.
