Canon Flash Accessories 6651C001 Editorial Review
The Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT (Ver. 3) has garnered a mixed reception from customers, primarily revolving around its performance and reliability as a triggering device for Canon speedlights. While some users appreciate the value offered by this transmitter, many have reported significant issues with connection stability. Specifically, complaints of dropped transmission links have been a recurring theme among users, which has rendered the ST-E3-RT largely ineffective during shoots. Several customers attempted to use the transmitter with different Canon speedlights, notably the 430EX RTs, with fresh batteries and in various locations, but they still experienced frequent disconnections. This has led to frustration among users who were expecting seamless compatibility within the Canon ecosystem. Others have voiced their disappointment, especially when they turned to alternative systems, like the Godox X ProC and Godox X1C receivers, which reportedly demonstrated better reliability with the same equipment. Overall, the ST-E3-RT (Ver. 3) appears to fall short of expectations, particularly in terms of Consistency during critical photography sessions—an essential aspect for professionals and enthusiasts alike. **
