Lanyun Pushbutton Switches Editorial Review
The Lanyun crystal style engine start/stop switch ignition button has garnered a generally positive reception among customers, particularly for its aesthetic appeal and ease of installation. Users have expressed satisfaction with how well it fits in various BMW models, particularly the E92, with many noting that it is a significant improvement over the original button. The added glow feature is praised though some customers wish it were brighter as the illumination is described as somewhat dim. Installation provides mixed feedback; while many find it straightforward as the button clips right in, a few have encountered challenges with the removal of the old button. Users recommend being cautious about the condition of the old ignition area, as loose or chipping paint can complicate the process. In particular, one reviewer advised taking extra time to clean the area better prior to installation to avoid difficulties. Overall, the button has a modern look that users appreciate, with some customers suggesting that it elevates the interior of their vehicles significantly. When coupled with the accompanying silver ring, users have expressed high levels of satisfaction, calling the combination a great deal for the price. However, there's a note of caution for owners of older pre-LCI models to double-check compatibility before purchase. **
