Veise Deadbolts VE027 Editorial Review
**Editorial Review** The Veise VE027 smart door lock has garnered a warm reception from customers, with many highlighting its effective functionality, stylish design, and user-friendly features. Several users have transitioned to this lock after frustrations with previous models that drained batteries quickly. In contrast, the VE027 has proven to have better battery life, with reports of 8 AA batteries lasting approximately three months before needing replacement. One of the standout features of this lock is its integration with Alexa, allowing users to lock doors verbally while maintaining security protocols for unlocking. The fingerprint scanner is praised for its reliability, with a success rate of about 98%. Users appreciate the convenience of the biometric access, stating it's quicker than entering a security code. However, different users have noted that the finger recognition can be less reliable for smaller fingers, such as those of children, who may need to rely on their thumbs for efficient scanning. The ability to monitor the lock's status and battery levels via a smartphone app is also a highlight, providing an additional layer of security and convenience. Integration for remote unlocking is a valuable feature, giving peace of mind to users who wish to grant access to family or service personnel while away from home. The design of the lock has not gone unnoticed; it is described as attractive, which complements the aesthetics of many households. The product comes with comprehensive instructions for installation and use, and customer service experiences have been largely positive, with users noting clear communication when they have reached out for support. Overall, the Veise VE027 smart door lock impresses with its functionality, security features, and value for money, making it a favorable choice for those seeking an upgrade in home security solutions. **
