- Discover the ChompSaw by Chompshop, a kid-friendly power tool that lets children cut cardboard on their own. No sharp blades, no spinning parts, just a high-speed hole punch that chomps through materials as soft and softer than cardboard and thinner than 3mm. Cuts straight lines, complex curves, and slots for building 3D shapes right out of the box. A small white marking on the cutting head guides cuts and indicates cut width. Like a jigsaw, the ChompSaw cuts in one direction, just push cardboard into the machine to get started. A safety guard is designed to help protect little fingers. Meets ASTM F963, CPSC, CPSIA, and CA Prop 65 standards. Roughly as loud as a household vacuum (70 to 75 dB). Recommended for ages 5 and up with adult supervision for younger children. Powered by a 100 to 120V AC adapter stored under the lid. No batteries required. No assembly required. Just plug it in and start creating. Includes 1 ChompSaw, 1 hole punch tool, 1 scoring tool (for creating folds and removing layers), 1 illustrated getting started guide, a dual-sided cutting mat (imperial on one side, metric on the other), and a starter project box with printed shapes and a challenge dice. Access the Chompshop Learning Hub for project ideas and video tutorials. Build forts, costumes, dioramas, science fair models, marble mazes, catapults, and engineering challenges at the kitchen table, in a workshop, at summer camp, or in a classroom makerspace.
