The Coleman Bluetooth Ceiling Assembly is an upgrade that will fit a 9430-D715 model and works with a rooftop unit. There is a thermistor included in the device that sends a signal to the board. There are two speeds available, high and low. When set in auto mode, the unit turns the fan off when it reaches the set temperature. However, the cowling retains chill and heat, which makes the range of accuracy on it 3 degrees, which is a big design flaw. It is best to have a wall-mounted thermostat because it is better to have the temperature accuracy closer to where you want it. The buildup quality is poor, and it includes an unmarked fuse on the board of the interior cap. There is also an issue with the thermistor since it determines the room temperature, but it is in the path of the blower, and it is located on metal, so it typically reads lower than the actual room temperature. It comes with terrible instructions, but you can find some helpful videos on YouTube. The unit cycles on and off properly, and it's overall a good upgrade for your basic A/C unit. The Bluetooth app feature rounds off the device. Some people have experienced issues with the unit, such as the thermostat flashing on and off or not working at all, and the chill retention issue can cause problems with users' health. You cannot use it without a freezer probe. Overall there is quite varied feedback, some contented customers have an increased level of convenience, while others have encountered technical problems, and some have even claimed it has caused them health issues.
