Product Details
- An effective working area of 400 x 400 x 78 mm is large enough for most daily CNC projects. The newly designed Z-axis slide makes it easier to replace a spindle. By adding more screw holes on the Z axis slide, you can install the longer spindle higher to get extra machining height.
- New steel HSS frame - completely redesigned frame structure, each axle consists of two 16 mm steel HSS linear tubes and a drive with lead screw, two Y-axis rails and an all-metal frame. This new highly rigid structure ensures the stability and accuracy of the CNC machine.
- While still based on the open source Grbl v1.1, the 4040-PRO CNC router is now equipped with a more powerful but quieter Toshiba TB6S109 driver with 32-bit chip. The new features include advanced function connections such as a special 3-pin laser connector, an air pump connector and an MPG connector.
- All important parts are already pre-assembled, and it only takes about 15 minutes for the entire machine to be assembled. The worktop is composed of two MDF panels. Each MDF board can be replaced individually. You don't need to replace the whole countertop if a plate is damaged.
- The additional spindle mount, laser module and other accessories are available to order. So you can easily upgrade the machine according to your needs. If you get stuck, check out the SainSmart Resource Center (see User Manual) or contact us with any questions that arise.
