Does this item have a cooling effect or does it make you too warm?
Answer: No, it makes you quite warm. Also, I haven't used it very much and the foam inside has split, so no longer able to use it as it doesn't give support anymore. Would not buy this again. -

Mine was excellent but the sponge has split where it goes between knees, so it isn't as effective anymore!
Answer: Bought one for my wife who was complaining of painful hips. I was skeptical she would use it, but she uses it daily and is convinced it's helping her. Like everything, nothing lasts forever and for this low cost I'm happy and months later it still looks like new.
